I created an armature from wire and a wooden base board in the shape of the sketched creature below. It was difficult finding a way to plan to support wings with thin wire. I had to make sure all my wire was braided to produce the strongest results. I added clay and started by sculpting the skeleton on my creature. After I finished all the bones I added the muscles, to one half of the skeleton, that the back and neck were comprised of. This creature is a combination of a fox, a frog, and a bat. It is meant to be somewhat dragon like.
